Vital Data Technology’s Affinitē Quality Improvement Solution Receives AMP Measure Certification from NCQA for Measurement Year 2023

Vital Data Technology is pleased to announce that our Affinitē Quality Improvement (QI) solution has received Align. Measure. Perform. (AMP) measure certification by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for Measurement Year (MY) 2023. This certification confirms that the Affinitē QI solution ranks among the top performing organizations in California along rigorous standards managed by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) on behalf of 13 health plans, over 200 provider organizations, and more than 13 million Californians.    

The AMP program is one of the nation’s largest, most established value-based healthcare performance improvement measurement programs, with efforts focused on improving care quality and cost for millions of Californians. Since 2003, the AMP program has helped California-based health plans implement a common, industry-endorsed measure set and methodology to create clear performance benchmarks and reward high-performing organizations.

AMP Measure sets for Measurement Year 2023 fall under the following domains: Clinical Quality, Data Quality, Patient Experience, Advancing Care Information, Appropriate Resource Use, and Cost of Care. Three new measures were added in 2023, including Depression Screening and Follow-Up for Adolescents and Adults under Behavioral Health & Substance Use Measures; and Transitions of Care: Medication Reconciliation Post-Discharge and Well Child Visits in the First 30 Months of Life, both under Prevention & Screening Measures.
